LifeBoard Privacy Policy
This notice explains how the current local-first LifeBoard app handles information.
Information you add
LifeBoard may store your display name, reminders, dates, bills, expenses, budgets, notes, Vault records, attachments, settings, milestones and a randomly generated device identifier. You decide what to enter.
Where information is stored
Your LifeBoard content is stored in the app's private storage on your device. The current release has no LifeBoard account, advertising, analytics, cloud sync or AI processing. AbcHub does not sell your information.
PIN and biometrics
LifeBoard stores a secure verifier rather than your raw PIN. Biometric matching is performed by the device operating system; LifeBoard does not receive or store your fingerprint or face data.
Notifications and permissions
If you allow notifications, LifeBoard schedules reminder details through Android's local notification facilities. Camera, photo or file access is used only when you choose an attachment, backup or restore action.
Updates and network data
Google Play delivers updates for the Play edition. Google may process connection and account information under its own privacy terms. LifeBoard sends none of your organiser content to AbcHub during update delivery. The separate direct beta contacts AbcHub's static update service only when checking for an update; organiser content is not included.
Backups and sharing
Backup files are password-encrypted before export. You choose where to save or share them. Exported files remain outside LifeBoard until you delete them from the chosen location. Losing the password may make them unrecoverable.
Your choices and retention
You can view and correct content, archive or remove individual records, or use Delete All LifeBoard Data. Uninstalling removes app-private data under Android's rules. Separately exported backups must be deleted separately.
Security and children
No method is risk-free. Keep your device updated and locked, protect backup passwords and store exported backups safely. LifeBoard is a general personal organiser and is not specifically directed to children.
South African privacy rights
South African users may have rights under POPIA, including access, correction, deletion, objection and complaint rights. Because organiser content remains on your device, these controls are normally exercised inside the app. Complaints may also be directed to South Africa's Information Regulator.
Future features
Cloud sync, accounts or AI will require a clear updated notice and appropriate user choice before they are enabled.
